
Summary:
Shaman King is an anime by Hiroyuki Takei that tells the story of a young shaman, Yoh Asakura, who wants to become the Shaman King in order to lead a peaceful and peaceful life.
The story begins in Japan, on a day that Yoh, while looking at the stars, met a boy named Manta Oyamada, who became his best friend (and only one at that time).
Later, Anna Kyouyama, Yoh’s fiancée, arrives in the series, which has a very strong character and forces him to train very hard so that Yoh could become the Shaman King and she could have a life of luxury and comfort. He also meets Ryu with a wooden sword, who dreams with his gang to find their favorite place to rest, and Horo Horo, a shaman from northern Japan, who dreams of creating a field full of plants and finally, he will meet Ren. Yoh and his friends will participate in the Shaman Fight, the tournament between shamans held every 500 years, in which the Shaman King will be decided. Silver, one of the tournament officials, will be Yoh’s representative and the one to guide him through it. Qualifying began, and Yoh faced Horohoro, Faust VIII, and Ren Tao. Once he made it to the second round, he set out to travel to America with his friends, but before doing so he met the evil Hao Asakura, his ancestor.
Once in America they went to look for the Apache Village. Along the way they meet Lyserg, a shaman who is looking for strong friends to take revenge on Hao, and Chocolove, another shaman who dreams of becoming the best comedian in the world. The two will join Yoh’s group, although Lyserg will leave them later to join the X Soldiers. Finding the Apache village will not be easy, and you will have to go looking for clues about it, and fighting against Hao’s servants. Anna, along with Manta, is in charge of bringing Yoh the Magic Log, which will give Yoh and his friends great powers. They will also find out that Hao is Yoh’s twin brother, and that they must finish him off. Anna and Manta upon arrival, meet Jun Tao, Len Tao’s sister, and Faust VIII, who from now on will fight alongside Yoh.
After many battles, they will arrive at the Apache village, where the third and last stage of the tournament will begin, in which they will have to fight 3 against 3. The groups will be formed by Yoh, Fausto and Ryu on the one hand and Ren, Horohoro and Chocolove for another. They will have several battles, and they will be able to increase their powers.
Hao, also winning his battles, and defeating the X Soldiers, believes that it is no longer necessary to continue in the Shamans tournament and decides to take over the great spirits himself.
The series ends with the battle between Yoh and Hao, in which Yoh dies, but finally manages to defeat Hao with the help of the other shamans.
